Description

Lightly used marine traction motor.  Can also be used in truck and commercial electric vehicles in the 7,500 to 12,000 pound range.
This auction is for ONE motor;  We have a second, identical motor (matched pair) available, if needed.
These motors was briefly installed and run, but has less than 5 hours on it.  They are still in like-new condition, and the brushes are not yet fully broken in.
Original price for this motor was ,280 USD.
This motor was designed and manufactured by EPC Corporation, and is 100% made in the U.S.A.
Powerband is 400 to 5,800 RPM, with 6,200 RPM redline.

otor weighs 494 pounds, yet produces more peak torque than a typical supercharged big block V8.
Although labeled for 144v / 477a, the actual
factory-rated input
is 210 volts / 650 amps (137 kW) continuous, and 350 volts / 2000 amps peak
(700 kW)
, using the internal fan.  With forced induction, you can hold up 1500 amps at 350 volts, which will give you 525 kW
continuous
(around 730 hp).  Peak output should be limited to 700 kW (973 hp).  Forced induction adapters and blowers are available through EPC.

Buyer pays actual shipping charges.  Due to the size/weight, motor MUST be shipped via Freight service.  Shipping price shown is to any location with a loading dock.  Residential liftgate service is available in most areas for an additional charge.  You may also pickup at shipping terminal.  Motor weighs about 500 lbs, but crated is around 600 lbs.
